Established in 1996, Sharda University has emerged as the largest educational conglomerate in Uttar Pradesh. The university provides a broad spectrum of undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate programs through both online and on-campus modes of learning. It supports a dynamic academic environment with over 13,000 students and a strong team of more than 900 faculty members and academic professionals.

The university operates campuses in Agra, Greater Noida, and Mathura, while its primary campus extends across 180 acres with an infrastructure covering nearly 3.5 million square feet. Sharda University is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under the UGC Act of 1956 and holds the status of a full-fledged university, duly approved by the Uttar Pradesh State Legislature.

With a culturally rich and inclusive atmosphere, the university hosts students from over 95 countries and 29 Indian states. It has earned numerous national and international accreditations and maintains more than 200 active MOUs through tuition fee programs and semester exchange initiatives, ensuring global academic exposure. The institution is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an “A+” grade and has been honored by ASSOCHAM, supported by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, for excellence in education. Additionally, Sharda University is approved by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for its engineering programs and has partnerships with over 210 national and international organizations. According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), Sharda University is placed 87th in the University category. It holds a rank of 101–125 in Management, 150–200 in Engineering, and 62nd in Pharmacy. The university is also approved by regulatory and professional bodies including the UGC, Department of Higher Education, Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Bar Council of India (BCI), National Medical Commission (NMC), Dental Council of India (DCI), Council of Architecture (COA), NCTE, INC, ASIC, and several others. The online programs currently offered include Bachelor of Business Administration (General), Bachelor of Computer Applications (General), Bachelor of Arts (Hons. Political Science), and Master of Commerce (General).
