MAHE Manipal Online
Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) was established in 1953 as India’s first self-financing higher education institution for medical studies. The university provides world-class education and opportunities to over 35,000 students from more than 60 countries. It has a dedicated team of 3000+ experienced faculty and 10,000+ support staff, delivering high-quality education across multiple disciplines, including health sciences, engineering and management, liberal arts, communication, humanities, and more.
The university operates multiple campuses: Bengaluru, Mangaluru, and Jamshedpur, with its international campus in Dubai (UAE). Each campus offers specialized programs—Mangaluru focuses on medical and dental education, while Bengaluru offers courses in Engineering, Regenerative Medicine, Law, Humanities & Arts, Social Sciences, Liberal Arts, and Management. Overall, MAHE provides over 300 programs across 31+ streams at undergraduate, postgraduate, and postdoctoral levels.
MAHE has consistently earned recognition for excellence in academics and research. According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2023, it is ranked 6th among Indian universities. In the QS World University Rankings 2023, it stands at 751–800 globally and 215 in Asia. Globally, it is ranked 800–1000 in World University Rankings, with an Asian ranking of 351. In the Shanghai Rankings (ARWU), it is positioned between 900–1000.
